During the civil war, Confederate troops joined the standardization of firearms, including many European countries. Among the weapons used to equip the cavalry, there was also traditional hunting on horseback. In this way, the cavalry regiment gained a notable advantage in short-range fighting. Many of these short-barreled weapons had both mainsprings and rear springs. The guns were not always shortened.
In fact, their popularity has led many gunsmiths to produce rifles with only one trigger. This rifle has a beautiful brown color for the barrel. The mechanisms are made of case-hardened steel.
