The lever rifle of 1887 is considered the first successful rehearsal rifle. The Chiappa Firearms' 1887 is a faithful reproduction of this classic firearm.
Delivered with 2 interchangeable mechanisms, the Chiappa 1887 can be supplied with 5 cartridges 12/70 in the store tube plus 1 in the chamber or with the reduced mechanism, 2 cartridges 12/70 stacked for hunting or trapping.
The manual repetition mechanism is achieved by a quick and quick maneuver of the lever to allow the ejection of the drawn cartridge and the feeding of the new cartridge.
