Very high precision competition weapon from the American West with a metal cartridge!
Breech-loading rifled barrel weapon with falling block mechanism and metallic cartridge. For very high precision shooting on targets placed up to a thousand meters away.
- Stecher type adjustable starting mechanism with two triggers.
- Black bronzed heavy octagonal barrel.
- Pistol grip stock and fore-end are in selected walnut, fore-end with mouthpiece in German silver.
- Barrel with 6 stripes at a pitch of 1:18'' or 460 mm.
The legendary Sharps competition shotgun features a raised back stock, wide butt plate and checkered pistol grip – all features that are also ideal for the prone position.
The case, the trigger system and the cocking lever have a raw forge finish.
The rifle has a heavy octagonal barrel with a hartford collar.
Equipped with a rear sight and a front sight under tunnel with interchangeable inserts, the rifle is already drilled and tapped to allow the assembly of a diopter to be mounted on the tail of the breech.
The original 45/70 caliber is a 45 caliber bullet propelled by a 70 grain charge of black powder.
