Dummy metal replica of the famous American M3 submachine gun Grease Gun in caliber 45 of the Second World War.

The authentic weapon of this submachine gun was born in 1940 when England was isolated and threatened by an imminent invasion of Germany. Thus, was born the machine gun Sten, a weapon with a questionable but reliable design. And also one of the most recognizable weapons of the Second World War. It will eventually be used by airborne troops and special operations forces as resistance in almost every country occupied by German soldiers.
The Stem Mark II was used by Commonwealth forces during the Second World War and the Korean War. Its most notable features were its simple design and low cost of production.
The name STEN is an acronym derived from the names of its major weapons designers: Mayor Reginald Shepherd, Harold Turpin and Enfield, the location of the Royal Small Arms Factory (RSAF) in London. About four million Sten were produced during the 1940s.
