• The medium contour barrel (.75" at the muzzle) is fitted with a Ruger Precision Rifle hybrid muzzle brake to effectively reduce recoil while minimizing noise and blast to the shooter's sides.
• Patented multi-magazine interface works interchangeably with AICS and M110/SR-25/DPMS/Magpul magazines (works with some M14 magazines).
• The Ruger Marksman Adjustable™ trigger is externally adjustable, with a pull range of 2.25 to 5 pounds; the key is stored in the cylinder head housing.
• The in-line recoil path handles recoil directly from the rear of the receiver to the stock, bypassing a traditional housing system, providing maximum accuracy potential.
• The Ruger Precision MSR stock with QD attachment points for slings is equipped with a lower Picatinny rail and a soft rubber butt plate. The hinge of the left-hand folding stock is attached to an AR-type buffer tube and accepts any AR-type stock. The length of pull and the height of the comb are adjustable.
• Cold hammer-forged chrome-molybdenum steel barrel, with 5R rifling to minimum bore and groove dimensions, minimal headspace and centralized chamber.
• The 15" aluminum handguard is black anodized and features Magpul® M-LOK® slots on all four sides for improved scope clearance and easy mounting of M-LOK compatible rails and accessories.
• Ambidextrous manual safety for left or right handed.
• 20 MOA Picatinny rail secured with #8-40 screws to increase long range elevation capabilities.
• The "upper" receiver and one-piece slide are precision CNC machined from pre-hardened 4140 chrome-molybdenum steel to minimize warping.
• The three-lug bolt with a 70° reach features two cocking cams and a smooth-running full-diameter bolt body. The bolt body is nitrided for better corrosion resistance, smooth operation and longer life.
• The barrel can be replaced easily by a competent gunsmith using gap gauges.
• The front of the magazine is contoured for a good grip when leaning on the shooting rests.
• Oversized bolt handle for positive bolt handling, with 5/16"-24 thread for easy bolt replacement. Bolt removal tool is stored in the Ruger Precision Rifle Billet aluminum bolt housing for easy cleaning the firing pin channel.
• The "lower" magazine halves are precision machined from 7075-T6 aerospace grade aluminum and are anodized with a Type III hard coat for maximum durability.
• AR type grip with extended trigger reach and ambidextrous 45° safety selector. Can be configured with any AR style grip and selector.
