Garrett ACE 200i metal detector

The Garrett ACE 200i represents an evolution of the very popular metal detector, the Garrett ACE 150.

It belongs to the new range of Garrett ACE i detectors, which complements the already existing ACE range. The Garrett ACE 200i retains the essential strengths that made the reputation of its predecessor, the Garrett ACE 150. It is an affordable metal detector, easy to use, efficient in terms of detection depth and lightweight, which makes it an excellent choice, especially for young detection enthusiasts.

This detector has visual discrimination thanks to its large LCD screen and its NOTCH function, as well as audio discrimination thanks to its multitonality. It emits different tones depending on the conductivity of the detected target: high for highly conductive targets, medium for those with medium conductivity, and low for normally ferrous targets. These three pre-programmed detection modes make getting started with detection much easier:

• “Zero” mode: for detection of all metals.
• “Coin” mode: specially designed for coins, with discrimination of ferrous metals. However, it should be noted that this mode can discriminate against certain non-ferrous metals, such as aluminum.
• “Jewelry” mode (recommended by our detection expert): suitable for jewelry, but it can also be used for other types of targets by eliminating ferrous metals.

The Garrett ACE 200i also introduces two new features over the ACE 150, in response to user feedback:

1. Target Conductivity Indication: This detector assigns a number from 1 to 100 to indicate the likely conductivity of the target, allowing the user to more precisely identify the nature of the detected object.

2. New clamping rings: Clamping rings have been added to the rod to prevent any play or unwanted movement over time, thus improving the stability of the detector.
