For some Investarm firearms, the lock is obtained by lost wax casting, a fusion process that achieves a precise design that faithfully reflects the historical originals being reproduced. Investarm pistols and some muzzle-loading pistols have a smooth tortoise plate: the treatment makes the metal of the plate scratched and the burnishing effects make the muzzle-loading pistol unique, elegant and refined.

The Investarm 170 black powder rifle is a rifle with a finely laser-engraved flint firing plate. Loading is done through the muzzle of the 32'' (81cm) rifled octagonal barrel. The starting mechanism is composed of triggers with a Stecher system (the second trigger, closest to the trigger guard, is used to pre-cock the trigger in order to reduce the starting weight when firing with the first trigger).
